Use examples

ZofToken can be used for any standard 2FA use case. Because of its flexible design, it also allows interesting use cases that might not be possible to implement with other 2FA solutions in the market.

Standard use cases

Securing application access

Add 2FA to any application (web/desktop/mobile) whenever you consider that username and password are not enough.

Transaction validation

Protect sensitive transactions over any communication channel.

Only with ZofToken

Thanks to its integration flexibility and the support of different user experience models, ZofToken allows implementing use cases that might not be viable with other solutions in the market.

Authenticating users in a Call Center

Authenticating clients during a phone call (through security questions) is an annoying process for the user and, even worse, a typically insecure one.

Using ZofToken during a phone call so that the Call Center operator can validate the identity of the caller is very simple, with the possibility of receiving a visual notification in the operator's console right away.

Second factor for credit cards

Because of how tokens are managed, it is possible to use ZofToken as a second factor for validating credit card transactions in a straightforward way for the user. The credit card authorizer could be configured to require that a ZofToken is activated before processsing transactions matching specific criteria (e.g. purchase amount or geographic location), providing a much higher level of security and peace of mind to the user.
